Blue light has a dark side

Researchers have found that exposure to blue light wavelengths before bedtime and at night has a significant impact on our sleep and circadian rhythm. And, actually, may increase the risk of depression and contribute to the causation of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity.

So next time you reach for your phone, tablet or TV remote in bed, think: maybe a good old book would be a healthier alternative.
